Kemasuthra is a Sri Lanka-based visual storytelling studio led by photographer, filmmaker and hotelier Praveen Gimhana. Before building the studio, I worked inside the hospitality industry, where I learned how a property truly works from rooms, food and service to guest expectations, daily operations and the pressure to turn attention into real bookings. That experience changed the way I create. I do not arrive only looking for beautiful frames; I look at the complete guest journey and the moments that make a hotel, villa or restaurant worth remembering.

Every shoot begins by understanding the place, its people, its audience and what the business needs the content to achieve. We then shape photography, films, social content and digital campaigns into one clear visual world. The result is not random content or polished images without purpose. It is an honest, useful story that helps future guests feel the atmosphere before they arrive—and gives hospitality teams a stronger visual identity across websites, booking platforms, social media and campaigns.
